Hot Yoga FAQ
Is There Music in Bikram Yoga?
Get expert answers to your hot yoga questions and discover the perfect studio for your practice.
Answer:
In a traditional Bikram yoga class, there is no music. The practice is intended to be a form of moving meditation, and the silence is meant to encourage internal focus, concentration on the teacher's dialogue, and awareness of your own breath and body. Other styles like Hot Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga, however, almost always use music to set the energy and pace of the class.
