In a crowded class, space is precious. The etiquette is to be mindful and efficient. Place your mat in a way that staggers it with the mats in front of you, so you are not directly behind someone. Leave enough space for your neighbors to move comfortably. Look for guidance from the teacher or experienced students. Avoid placing your personal belongings all around your mat; keep them contained.
